Hi, I’m Rob.




I’m a writer, director and performer from Wrexham, Wales, working on stage and screen. My interest and passion for performance sits at the centre of what I do, connecting everything across acting, filmmaking, presenting and music.





What drives my work?
I’m particularly interested in strong characters, finding new way to tell stories and exploring the relationship between performance and real life. Alongside acting, I write and direct narrative and documentary films, often playing with the line between humour and drama.

I’ve played characters on screen inside broadcast projects from BBC Wales and S4C and toured theatre shows internationally with Signdance Collective. I’ve also developed and presented my own live shows across the UK and Europe - including as 2080s - which mixes electronic pop music performances with theatre.


Film & Art
I run the production company 73 Degree Films and produce and present the BAFTA and BIFA-Qualifying FOCUS Wales Film Festival. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of filmmaking, production and audiences, while continuing to develop my work in front of and behind the camera.

My wider creative practice has also been recognised through the Aesthetica Art Prize, where my photography and performance projects ‘Every Day’s a Disco’ and ‘Of a Particular Time & Place(s)’ were longlisted in 2026 and 2025 respectively.





What’s next?
 I’m looking to build on my work in front of the camera, with a particular focus on film and television. I’m interested in working with directors and producers on ambitious, distinctive projects where performance is central to the work.

Alongside acting, I’m continuing to develop my own narrative and documentary films, live performance and music.
