Hi, I’m Rob.
I’m a multidisciplinary artist from Wrexham, working across performance, photography and film. My projects blur art and everyday life, often paired with documentaries that share the story behind the work.
Currently longlisted for the Aesthetica Art Prize 2025, I’m always open to opportunities to exhibit and collaborate.

Tracing My Irish Family History with Pubs
reverse heist series
Ireland.
Completed 2025.
Self-funded.
statement
“I’m tracing my family’s Irish roots - armed with a map, a camera, and a plan to visit every Wetherspoons pub in Ireland.
The unusual inspiration? My grandmother, Sheila Corcoran. She was evacuated to Wrexham in 1939 during WWII and the first building she entered in the city was The Majestic Cinema — now better known as the Elihu Yale Wetherspoons.
So...joined by my Dad John and longtime collaborator James, we set off on an epic road trip across Ireland. Our goal:
-Explore the towns where generations of Corcorans once lived.
-Locate the house where my Grandfather was born.
-Visit every Irish Wetherspoons — and quietly leave a tribute to each generation of my family on their walls.
I wanted to honour my ancestors in a way that felt true to me. The project is about looking back — but also thinking about what’s next for our family, in Wrexham and beyond.”
