Hi, I’m Rob.

I’m a multidisciplinary artist from Wrexham, working across performance, photography and film. My projects blur art and everyday life, often paired with documentaries that share the story behind the work.

Currently longlisted for the Aesthetica Art Prize 2025, I’m always open to opportunities to exhibit and collaborate.

Recent awards:

2025

Aesthetica Art Prize Longlist.

I was longlisted for my time travel analogue photography project Of a Particular Time & Place(s).

2029 Cultural Commission.

I was awarded a grant to create a unique project to support Wrexham’s bid to become UK City of Culture in 2029.

2024

Innovate UK Award.

This award, from the UK Government Innovation Department, provided living costs and materials so I could carry out an R&D project into the future of livestreaming. My research is ongoing and I hope to continue the project in the near future.

Best Doc @ Wicked Wales .

I won Best Documentary at Wales’ largest youth film festival for the film which covers my project you make your own bed.

2023

Arts Council Wales Create Award.

I recieved an award to produce my ‘living music video’ project YOU HAVE HALF A SECOND TO IMPRESS ME.

Ffilm Cymru Horizons Award.

This award, from the film agency for Wales, helped to support my career development as a filmmaker.
